Splash Floating Classroom
SPLASH Floating Classroom is an Educational and Environmental 501(c)3 non-profit organization. There are many potential lessons to be learned on the water.
In September 2004 the first class of students boarded our first floating classroom, SPLASH Steamboat. The steamboat was a replica of an 1800's sternwheeler, and served us many years an taught many lessons before she was sold and re-homed to Alaska. Now, we are on the hunt for a new vessel to teach the next generation! The main idea of a floating classroom is to inspire kids and to get them involve
