Colored up Brookies are one of the prettiest fish in my opinion!

My go to trout streams are much warmer this year with the lack of cold and snow run off. Due to this, they have already started to have an influx of creek chubs and shiners, so I pulled up my app and started scoping out some new streams to try.

This creek was so skinny, but trout were surfacing everywhere I looked. I tied on a spinner and caught a handful of these beautiful Brookies in the short time I was there!
