#teachingmntoride Golden Ridge Stables has taught Minnesota to ride since 1986.
Our established horseback riding lesson program offers quality hunt seat and western lessons for youth and ladies of all ages and abilities on well-mannered school horses. Our students discover how to work with each horse on the ground as well as on its back. Riding is a life skill that teaches self-discipline, communication, and teamwork. We are SO EXCITED to welcome Rio (TTE Tommy Boy) to GRS!!! Rio is joining our school horse herd and we think he will quickly steal everyone’s hearts 😍. He is a 26 year old Morgan gelding with fabulous hair, perfect for all of our students to practice their braiding skills on 💕 Special thank you to Rio’s human mom Jenna for sharing your special guy with us! Make sure you say hi to him next time you are out at the barn!

Happy Birthday to GRS Barn Manager, Riding Instructor, Showmanship Specialist, and all-around Chaos Coordinator, Mari! Whether she’s sharing a random fun fact or embracing her love of all things nerdy, Mari brings energy, knowledge, and heart to everything she does. She especially loves sharing her passion for horses with riders of all ages and abilities.
When she’s not at the barn, Mari enjoys reading, swimming, and training her puppy, Maisy. Kramer and all of your friends at GRS hope you have the happiest birthday, Mari!

We had a GREAT time at Sahara Sands Spring Classic. We are so thankful for the wonderful show committee that keeps everything running smoothly. We also want to thank our clients for helping with set up, tear down, quick changes and keeping us fed and hydrated! It takes a village! Congrats girls on a great show. More pictures to come 💙
