Water does more than flow to homes and businesses in Hood River. It now generates renewable energy.

A new, micro hydropower turbine installed in the city’s drinking water system captures energy that was once wasted and converts it to clean electricity.

Our Forest Monitoring Crews are hard at work in Lakeview, Oregon! They are collecting data about tree health, understory vegetation, and fuel abundance. This data will help the County prepare the area for wildfires. Thank you to our team and everyone else working to combat wildfire devastation πŸ’š 🌲
