The Tentative 2026–2027 Instructional Calendar for Victory Ridge Academy's Lake Wales and Davenport campuses is now available! This calendar includes important dates such as the first and last days of school, holidays, teacher workdays, report card distribution dates, graduation, and student early dismissal days.

We encourage all families, staff, and community partners to review the calendar and mark these important dates on their schedules. Please note that all dates are subject to change, and designated storm make-up days may be utilized if necessary.

**VICTORY RIDGE ACADEMY LAKE WALES WELCOMES NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL**

Vonette Clervil is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and currently resides in Lakeland, Florida with her husband and two daughters. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Mrs. Clervil brings extensive experience in Exceptional Student Education (ESE), having served in a variety of roles including paraeducator, inclusion teacher, ESE support specialist, and behavior interventionist. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs, helping to create structured, inclusive environments where all students can succeed.

As a parent of a child with special needs, Mrs. Clervil brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work. She is passionate about advocating for students and families, and believes that all students with disabilities are students with abilities who may simply require additional support to reach their full potential.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Vonette Clervil as the new Assistant Principal at Victory Ridge Academy Lake Wales! We are excited to have her join the VRA family and look forward to the knowledge, leadership, and dedication she will bring to our students, staff, and school community! 🦁🎉

It's never too early to start preparing for a successful school year! We are excited to share Victory Ridge Academy's 2026–2027 School Supply Lists for Preschool, Elementary, Middle School/High School, and Transition students for our Lake Wales and Davenport campuses.

Important Reminder: Only clear backpacks are permitted. Backpacks may feature characters or designs, but they must be transparent.

As we transition into summer, VRA Davenport will be operating on a modified schedule. Our office staff will continue to be available to assist families with enrollment, records requests, transportation questions, and other school-related needs throughout the summer months during the following days:

VRA Davenport will be closed from June 10th - July 19th. The Front Office will reopen on Monday, July 20th and will continue will Summer Office Hours until August 3rd.

Hello VRA family this is Dr. Brown:

If your child has medication at school in the clinic, please stop by the school office by noon on Friday, May 29th to pick the medication up. We are not able to store medication over the summer so all medication must be picked up by a parent or destroyed.

We thank you for helping to make the 25-26 school year a success and for trusting your children with us. We hope you all have a fun, restful and safe summer break.

Victory Ridge Academy is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $4,000 grant from the Florida’s Natural Growers Foundation in support of the school’s Schoolwide Behavior Management System.

The funding provided by Florida’s Natural Growers Foundation will help enhance and sustain VRA’s positive, evidence-based Schoolwide Behavior Management System, which serves approximately 475 students. The program is designed to encourage positive behavior, strengthen social-emotional development, and provide students with meaningful opportunities to build important life skills.

The grant will also help provide students with Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) experiences, including access to Victory Ridge's school store, movie days, celebratory lunches, and other positive reinforcement opportunities that encourage continued growth and success.

Victory Ridge Academy is incredibly grateful to the Florida’s Natural Growers Foundation for their generous support of our students and staff. This funding will directly impact our ability to provide meaningful reinforcement opportunities that help students develop self-regulation, social skills, and lifelong behavioral success.

The mission of Florida’s Natural Growers Foundation is to support charitable organizations specializing in the field of health, education, and youth in the Central Florida area. The Foundation grants 100% of its contributions back to community organizations.

VRA Lake Wales and Davenport wrapped up the 2026–2027 school year in an unforgettable way with their final PBIS celebrations! Students and staff at our Lake Wales campus lit up the day with an exciting Glow Party, while our Davenport campus brought the fun and sunshine with a festive Luau-themed celebration.

These events were filled with laughter, music, dancing, games, and wonderful memories as we celebrated the hard work and positive behaviors shown by our students throughout the school year.

A very special thank you goes out to our incredible Behavior Team, along with all staff members and volunteers who helped bring these events to life. Your creativity, dedication, and countless hours of hard work made these celebrations so special for our students. We appreciate everything you do to make VRA a fun, supportive, and positive place to learn and grow!
