Back in June, a 52 year-old patient of mine presented with bilateral knee injuries which both required surgery. He explained to me that he was training for the 11 Day Power Play and needed to get back on the ice as soon as possible. Soon after returning to hockey after successful bilateral knee surgeries, he tore his biceps tendon. Determined to reach his goal, he has pushed himself through rehab after a 3rd surgery and is currently participating in the 11-day continuous (24/7) hockey game.
