Custom Model Depot

I haven't been looking forward to making this announcement but I've been putting it off long enough.
For a number of months I've been working for Rapido Trains, yes that one. As a result I have had to re-evaluate my priorities and give myself a break once in a while. I tried to work a full time job and keep CMD running. Unfortunately it became a serious struggle and something had to give. So after months of debate, we've decided to close the business.

My dad and I put a lot of work into making this a successful business and it's been a great learning experience for both of us. I wouldn't be where I am now without it.
Our vehicle kits became incredibly popular and I'm grateful for that. I want to thank everyone who saw interest and bought our kits. It really does means a lot. Thank you to all of you that shared your progress along the way. It always provided me with an extra bit of motivation to keep designing.

Something that we think is overlooked in the model railroading community is boats. In the grand scheme of things that shouldn't be too much of a surprise but that is one of the reasons why we are going to offer Duffy. She is a 35 foot Ed Monk designed Bridge Deck Sedan. Built in Seattle, WA in 1950, and still today a resident of the Puget Sound.
Duffy is a fully 3D printed kit including an interior as well as several separately applied details and laser cut window glazes. She will be offered in HO and N scale. Potentially S and O if the model fits on our printers!
