I’m so very excited about this project (and not only because I’ve poured my whole clay covered heart into it). Over 7 hours of on demand video lessons covering hand building pottery basics all the way up to more specialty and advance techniques too. I wanted to make sure that this would help both people who are just starting on their clay journey or trying to level up their skills with new techniques and foundations. Best part, almost all of the techniques I show can be used with air and oven-dry clays (just note these will always be decorative and never be food safe).

But really, you’ve read this far, time to sign up for the waitlist for your chance to win all this pottery lovin’ goodness of free! Tag your clay friends below!

Glazing up my stacked column sculpture with the satin matte series!

I coil built this piece in multiple parts so even thought it doesn’t fit in my wonderful set up (you can stack rings to fire taller pots btw…) I am still able to build large and in charge.

Enjoy enjoy and if you may be so inclined…. I’m teaching an online hand building course that is launching soon and will be sooooooo much fun! Waitlist info on page, so GO CHECK THAT OUT!!

This is the time I took 175 lbs of handmade ceramics through TSA to deliver a collection to a client!! Can’t say I’m eager to do this process again - especially not at 4am… But I am eager to get started on the next collection!

There are so many silly and logistical nightmares that are a part of being an artist and tbh the puzzles of it all are really fun, and hopefully I keep my hair ginger and not gray through them all.

All jokes aside, this was such a dream to deliver my first ever collection of ceramic work to the beautiful by design. Having my art in an interior design show room has been a long time goal of mine, so next time you’re in Sandpoint Idaho be sure to stop by!

Pt. 2 coming soon…
