We are seeking 2 more Firefighters for the 2019 Fire Season.

Position duties include, Commanding a Wildland fire apparatus and crew to and from Nationally Dispatched Incidents. Qualified Candidates would be expected to Mentor His/Her Crew in Fireline Safety, Fire Suppression, Structure Triage, Prep, and Protection, Fire Mitigation, Line Construction, Belt Weather observation and reporting, Radio Communications, and Mop up. This is an ON CALL position that requires a minimum of 14 hour shifts, working anywhere from 14-21 days in a row, on fires anywhere in the continental United States. Stone Mountain Fire Protection LLC is hiring for the 2022 Fire Season. We are seeking 2 qualified Engine Bosses aswell as FFT2's and FFT1's. We are a Nationally Dispatched Wildfire Suppression and Structure Protection company that typically see's 100 plus days per season on Fire. This is an on call position, however Crew members are required to attend regular training sessions at Stone Mountain Ranch. Qualified candidates would live within 2 hours of our Base of Operations in Lake George Colorado, and would be expected to respond in a timely manner for dispatch.
