The Comptroller's Office has released the first in a new series of brief, informational reports for County leaders and taxpayers. Each "By the Numbers" one-sheet will focus on a particular population or subject relevant to County taxpayers. The first in the series, focusing on Veterans, was produced in coordination with the Office of Veterans Affairs, and includes data such as periods of service, demographics, and available benefits.
Issue No. 1 is available in full on the Comptroller's website, and will appear on social media in the coming days. Be sure to follow along!

Here's LaGrange voters' sample ballot for the upcoming Democratic primary election.
Election Day for the Democratic primary is June 23. Town of LaGrange voters may use any of the poll sites listed below on that day. Voters from any district of LaGrange can go to one of these centers:
• Overlook Primary School: 11 Mapleview Road, Poughkeepsie.
• Freedom Plains Presbyterian Church: 1168 Route 55, Lagrangeville.
• Southwest LaGrange Fire House #3: 21 Red Oaks Mill Road, Poughkeepsie.
• LaGrange Town Hall: 120 Stringham Road, Lagrangeville.
Early voting begins Saturday June 13. Early voting poll sites for Dutchess County voters are:
• Boardman Road Library: 141 Boardman Road, Poughkeepsie.
• Mid-Hudson Library Auditorium: 105 Market St., Poughkeepsie.
• Board of Elections Training Facility: 4280 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park.
• Wappinger Town Hall: 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls.
• Cornell Cooperative Extension: 2715 Route 44, Millbrook.
• Pavilion at Brookmeade: 34 Brookmeade Drive, Rhinebeck.
• Fishkill Town Hall: 807 Route 52, Fishkill.
