The Lagrange Shrine Club would like to take a minute to thank Taste of Lemon for the wonderful dinner last night. We enjoyed chicken and rice, turnip greens, macaroni and cheese, and every bit of it was absolutely delicious.
If you are looking for someone to cater your next event, put Taste of Lemon at the top of your list. Great food, great service, and some of the best home-style cooking around. Thank you again for taking care of us!

At the monthly work session of the Troup County School Board, the LaGrange Shrine Club was honored to present its annual Trades for Tomorrow Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded each year to one student from each of the three local high schools who plan to pursue careers through technical, vocational, trade, or work-based education programs.
This year’s recipients were Randi Hodge of Callaway High School and Cason Spears of Troup County High School. Both students were recognized for their dedication, hard work, and bright futures ahead. During the presentation, they were encouraged to pursue excellence, make a positive impact within their communities, and strive to leave a lasting impression on the world around them.
For the members of the LaGrange Shrine Club, whose mission is deeply rooted in supporting our Shriners Children’s Hospitals through fundraising and service, the opportunity to invest in the next generation of local leaders is especially meaningful. Supporting young people as they prepare to carry forward the values of hard work, leadership, and community service remains one of the organization’s greatest rewards.

We are beyond humbled and grateful to announce that the LaGrange Shrine Club has been voted Back-to-Back Winners in the Best of Troup County contest for the Non-Profit category!
To say “thank you” doesn’t feel like enough. The love, support, and encouragement this community continues to show us means more than words can express.
We also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to the Miracle League and Pathways. The work you do changes lives every single day, and it was truly an honor to be recognized alongside you both.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who voted for us, supported us, and believed in what we do. Your support inspires us to keep working harder, showing up bigger, and continuing to give back to the community we love so much.
Our hats are off to you Troup County. We love and appreciate each and every one of you!
