Okay, can we just talk about Selena Gomez's new song, "How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten" featuring Benny Blanco?! 🤯 This track is an absolute powerhouse and it's hitting me on such a deep level.

For anyone who's ever been deeply in love and then betrayed, this song is a whole anthem. Selena was so clearly all in, and the hurt she must have experienced was beyond belief. But the incredible thing about this song, for me, is the journey it represents. It speaks to a place where she's clearly worked on herself, and enough time has passed that she's genuinely forgotten about that old flame.

And let me tell you, that is AMAZING. Trauma bonds are no joke. They can feel more powerful than love sometimes, even mistakenly for love, but they're not. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with. But listening to this song? It fills me with so much hope and genuinely motivates me to move past those feelings and truly forget about the past.

I've also heard some people say the lyrics in the song are what people have actually said to her. If that's true, it's no wonder she's spoken so openly about her struggles with depression. Imagine mixing mental health issues with those kinds of debilitating words being spoken over you, all while battling Lupus? Her resilience is truly incredible.

I admire the hell out of Selena Gomez. This song, along with what I'm sure will be the entire album, is going to be on repeat for a long, long time. ❤️

I was just telling my husband how I walk around barefoot so much in my garden that my feet stay dirty and it made me self reflect through the things I learned at the SW institute of Healing Arts.

"dirty toes" might symbolize accumulated emotional baggage, unresolved conflicts, or suppressed feelings that are "sticking" to a person and affecting their energy or progress.

Neglect or lack of self-care: It could also suggest a neglect of one's emotional or spiritual well-being, where metaphorically, the "dirt" represents aspects of oneself that are being ignored or left untended.

Stagnation or feeling "stuck": If the toes are seen as a path or a journey, "dirt" could imply a blockage or resistance to moving forward, as if something is weighing them down or hindering their "walk" on their destined path.
