A stitched panorama from Del Mar - 2021. This sunset was spectacular in person!

Got out with a buddy to catch the super moon. Hazy conditions and cloud cover didn't let us get the horizon shot by the tower. We still had fun talking thru all the options.

Bucket list for me. I hope to capture more like this.

So most of these were in my previous post, and straight out of camera. These images developed or edited and I wanted to post these for me as I wasn't liking the previous images.

Mustangs

More than 2 decades ago I watched a herd of wild horses run atop the mesa in Canyonlands NP, it was spectacular! I had a chance encounter with another photographer a few years back and a seed was planted. With some research and planning I was able to make a longtime dream come true. Here are some of those photos. Wild horses (mustangs) are incredible to be around.
Look up the documentary "Unbranded". It is beautifully shot and introduces the audience to the real challenges that mustangs bring to the landscape.

Late but so what and not very exciting considering other locations. None the less, I enjoyed the experience and felt far more comfortable make photos than the last eclipse.

It blows my mind that this is the same bird. The feathers reflect light at different angles giving wildly different colors. Absolutely beautiful!
