A new chapter is taking shape for Hoist & Crane Service Group's corporate headquarters and national training facility in Harahan, Louisiana.

AQ Studios recently completed design for the 24,756 SF renovation, which will transform the facility with an expanded lobby, refreshed workspaces, enhanced employee amenities, upgraded training areas, and a renewed building exterior that better reflects the company’s brand.

By creating a stronger sense of arrival and modernized facilities for employees traveling from across the nation, this renovation supports Hoist & Crane's continued investment in its people and operations. Construction is set to begin soon.

A summer throwback to one of our favorite hospitality projects.

Our historic renovation and expansion of the New Orleans Country Club included large operable glass walls that can be folded completely open to the outdoors.

Of course, during a hot Southern Louisiana summer, they also allow members to enjoy views of the 18th hole while staying in the sweet, sweet air conditioning.

We loved working on this project where the view and member experience were part of the design.

AQ Studios is proud to have provided architectural services for the South's only Biology-Guided Radiotherapy (BgRT) program, located at Ochsner Baptist - A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center.

This groundbreaking technology can improve treatment outcomes and reduce radiation side effects for patients by delivering a dose of radiation that tracks cancer as it is moving throughout the body.

We love working with clients who are on the cutting edge of their industries. Congratulations to Ochsner Health for bringing this innovative cancer treatment to patients throughout the Gulf South.

Nearly 190 years after its original construction, 516–524 Governor Nicholls has begun a new chapter as luxury condos in New Orleans.

AQ Studios completed the historic restoration and condominium conversion of this remarkable three-building French Quarter property. The project transformed 18 residential units while preserving the architectural character that makes the Vieux Carré one of America's most significant historic districts.

Our team restored the building's exterior, removing non-historic alterations and repairing character-defining features including masonry, stucco, balconies, shutters, and historic detailing. Inside, the residences were thoughtfully updated with expanded kitchens, luxury bathrooms, modern building systems, in-unit laundry, and refinished historic wood flooring—bringing contemporary living standards to a nearly two-century-old building.

Check out the Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center Physical Therapy facility in Lafayette’s Oil Center!

This 24,982 SF, two-phase renovation transforms an existing building into an integrated healthcare and education environment, bringing outpatient rehabilitation services and the LSU Health Shreveport Physical Therapy Department together under one roof.

The project includes a new therapy gym, exam rooms, simulation lab, teaching labs, faculty offices, and collaborative student spaces designed to support both patient care and hands-on learning.

By combining education and clinical care in a single purpose-built facility, the project expands access to rehabilitation services while helping strengthen the future pipeline of physical therapists in Acadiana.
