Hello Friends! Let's do a little Monday update on several things at Edith Chloe Self Care Shop!

🌻This week the store will be open Tuesday 1PM-4PM and normal hours of 11AM-5PM Wednesday-Friday. The store will not be open Saturday September 21st, Edith Chloe Self Care Shop will be at Brookston Apple Popcorn Festival all day!

We're coming up on ONE YEAR at 1605 Kossuth Street!!!! ( Lease signed October 15th!)🥳 I will probably have a celebration in November when we officially opened last year.

⭐I'm slowly planning a few things...I'd like to get some small bistro tables and chairs and welcome people to come in for a quiet workspace or to meet with a friend or business associate. I'm planning for two tables, one at each front window to start, I will update when I find the right seating. :)

💄A ladies friendship event-late October. I know that so many women in Lafayette struggle to find friends in the area, I'm hoping that I can help with making those connections.

☕I would like to also offer simple coffee and tea at some point, if any of you are in the coffee and tea world and want to help with this, message me!

🩷We will be getting in a small selection of plus size clothing soon, with help from Eclectic Beauty and Fashion :)

👀We now have candles, bookmarks, bumper magnets, and locally made wood burned art. New books and Natural Life Gift Items arriving this week!

I’m working on ways to revise the clothing offerings to be able to offer pieces at a lower price point. Offering high quality clothing is important to me so once I find a solution that matches both a lower price point and the quality you all deserve, I will update!

Today is Friday the 13th! If you're superstitious, be careful. If you're excited, have fun! ;) I've been seeing information like this about Friday the 13th over the past few days and I think it's an interesting perspective!

Can I just say that I absolutely love it when there are a few customers in the store at the same time and they end up finding something to connect over and we all just start chatting and bonding ☺️ This happens more often than not and it's just the best feeling for everyone! I love having a space where people can soak up all the happy vibes! Also I'm starting to get people who are acquainted with my other customers and I just feel so honored that you all are sending your friends and loved ones and I get to know them too! That is all , feeling the love! ✌️☀️
