Mother’s Day, like a lot of holidays can be weird and griefy and thats ok. It is ok to feel exactly how you feel whether that is full of joy, or sadness, or conflicting emotions, it is all valid and it is all ok. You aren’t doing it wrong and you aren’t wrong for feeling the way that you feel. So much of the planetary collective pain comes from each of us putting on a mask to feel palatable for public consumption. That act not only dismantles our connection to self but dismantles our connection to others by putting up walls that limit vulnerability. So today, feel however it is that you feel. Sit with those emotions, honor them, and then let them go. Because you must feel it to heal it.

As above, so below means that what happens in a higher realm or plane of existence also happens in a lower realm or manifested within the physical reality and vice versa. It encourages us to pay attention to how our actions have consequences not only here on Earth but also throughout the universe. It also speaks to our individual journeys towards enlightenment and self-realization through spiritual practice and meditation. As we learn to connect with higher wisdom from within ourselves we can manifest great change into our physical reality.

‘As above so below’ serves as an important reminder of our place within the greater scheme of things: we are all part of something much bigger than ourselves and our actions have effects which go far beyond what we can see or feel at any given moment in time.

If you are trying your best, your best is enough… even if that doesn’t look like what your think your best SHOULD be. Give yourself some grace. Pause. Reflect. Begin again.
