This cleanout job still chaps my ass. 😅

What should have been a straightforward haul turned into one surprise after another, and that’s exactly what people don’t see behind junk removal. It's hard to know what is under all the junk. It's hard to judge how much room the junk will take up in a dumpster. We got the biggest, and it still wasn't enough.

Thank Taylor for the marketplace. Posted the pots for free and got all of them picked up. I posted a lot of stuff for super cheap to get it out. Also helped a neighbor with her furniture restoration business by giving her dressers for free.

Sometimes it’s not the lifting that’s hard.
It’s the hidden mess, the extra breakdown, the weird discoveries, and the time it takes to do it safely and completely.

But when it’s finally gone and the space breathes again, that’s the part that makes it worth it.

This latest job almost took me out. I horribly underbid it; there were things buried that I didn't see. I filled a 40-yard dumpster to overflowing and had to have extra help.
I have a new strategy for hoarder houses, so bring them on.
