The Union County Fairgrounds is hiring a Caretaker to help maintain the grounds and support events throughout the year.

From fairs to community gatherings, this role helps keep the fairgrounds welcoming and running smoothly. See attached notice and follow directions to learn more and to apply.

Important Notice: Campground Closure: The campground will be closed from March 9, 2026, onwards due to construction projects.

🚧 Fairgrounds Update – 2026 Sewer and Mt Emily Building Projects 🚧

The Fairground Projects are expected to begin February 2026 and continue through July 2026, with work happening in stages. During this time, facility rentals and access will be intermittently impacted.

Most buildings on the grounds will be affected, except the Mt. F***y Building and the Exhibit Hall. RV spaces will be managed day-to-day, and we hope to offer dry camping throughout the project. Horse stalling availability is not guaranteed.

These are exciting and long-awaited upgrades to our facilities.
