Backed up to a creek? That is not what keeps the mosquitoes coming.

The moving water does not breed them. The still water beside it does, the gutters, saucers and low spots that hold water for a few days.

We just posted where it hides on a creek lot and how to cut it off. Link in the comments.

Stomping scorpions one at a time is a losing game. Here is what actually works.

We seal the weep holes, door gaps, and slab penetrations they use, treat the exterior where they cross in from the rocks, and cut the bugs they hunt.

Keep the perimeter sealed through the season and they stop turning up inside. No contracts, free retreatments.

One fact explains most scorpion problems here.

About 95% are striped bark scorpions, and they climb. Walls, attics, upstairs, not just the floor. They get in through weep holes and gaps around pipes, then hunt the bugs already inside.

We mapped the common entry points and how to close them. Link in the comments.

Where do you spot them most?

We love hearing this.

Michelle called in the morning and we had the rats handled by 12:30 the same day. Fast, friendly, fair.

That is the standard. Thank you, Michelle.

Peak scorpion season is here.

You stomp the one by the shower, and two nights later there is another on the wall. After a summer storm they push inside for moisture and the bugs they eat.

It is not your housekeeping. It is the rocky ground around your house.

How many have you found this summer?
