Ways I’m adding MVMNT to my day (on top of my regular workouts…
• go for a longer walk immediately after my workout
• go for shorter walks after meals
• 5 minutes of jump rope before I lead outdoor camp
• 7 minutes of weights before I lead online camps
• 100 calf raises while I put the little one down for bed
• do compression core work while watching tv
How can you fit a little more MVMNT into your day?
Trying to do better about stretching after workouts. So we will be doing these three for consistency ☺️ Camp Gladiator
This one is for your wrists and back.

Learned some great stuff from at CG NEXT on how to AI proof my personal training. It’s still about connecting and ain’t no robot about to do it better than me.

With my man Jose at .nutritiontx ✊🏽 Very knowledgeable and relatable. Will definitely be coming back. And the inside of the store is super dope 🤯 check them out!
It’s time to reset!
We are halfway through the year. At this point let’s reflect on where we are, how we got here, and where we want to go.
Take some time this weekend to
• see how you did on your original goal
• identify your end of year goal
• choose an end date
• recognize any potential obstacles to reaching the goal
• tell your trainer for accountability
We don’t want to end the year with regrets, especially due to not being consistent.
The best way to support your local trainer is to let them help you reach your goals 👌🏽

Join me for the Nutrition Challenge from now till May 7. I’ll be completing my card right along side y’all.
Also, instead of our accountability zoom called scheduled for April 7, I’ll be hosting a CG wide nutrition call concerning mindset and obstacles with nutrition. Here’s what people have said about it…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “it was the best zoom call I’ve ever been on. And that includes the time I was taking that plumbing for dummies class!” - Fran Z from Saskatchewan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I’ve been alive for 32 year and have never eaten food. It freaks me out. But because of Edwin’s call, I’m going to start!” Bret Y from Nantucket
More details as we get closer. Hope to see yall there!
After Injury: Rehab Right…
…because I didn’t.
That’s why I have all these imbalances.
First ACL I was so eager to get back on the field that I didn’t take my time to get the strength back. And I didn’t have consistent help.
Achilles tear I didn’t plan out my recovery. And I didn’t have consistent help.
Hyperflexion happened on the first ACL side (which was already not up to s***f) so it already started at a disadvantage.
What I received in exchange for all that is a right quad that’s weaker than the left and a left calve that’s weaker than the right.
It’s a miracle that I don’t just walk in circles.
So, when dealing with injury make sure and
• take your time to get your strength / mobility / flexibility back
• get help: your therapist / trainer / someone who knows what you need to do and will support you doing that
• plan for recovery: make it a part of your schedule otherwise it’s easy to skip it and end up walking in a circle
Ok. So I see that some people wanted to be on the accountability zoom last week. To make up for it, I’m going to try offering it twice a month.
Next call will be on Sunday, March 3 at 6p CST.
This is for any nutrition client, camper, anyone who isn’t officially a member of cg but interested, and trainers as well. We will be talking mainly about how to stick with whatever it is you’re doing, so it’s accessible for anyone.
If you want to attend, let me know and I’ll add you to the calendar invite!

This year has to be massive for me.
No way around that.
But it won’t happen or by me doing the same ol stuff I’ve always done.
Same for you.
If you’re trying to accomplish something different than last year, you have to do different stuff.
Otherwise, you’ll get last years results.
Now, if you WANT last years results you have my permission to gohead do whatever.
So, what do you want?
