We provide services with a fleet of Apparatus that are exceptional for a Volunteer Department.
We operate two Class A Engine Companies, one Heavy Rescue Company, a 2000 Gallon Tanker for rural water supply and a Brush Truck for field and wild land fires. Taylor Township Fire Rescue has a dedicated roster of personnel who provide Basic Life Support Ambulance 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We average 400 calls per year for service with a ratio of 73% EMS related calls and 27% Fire or Rescue re
We are looking for free furniture. We are finishing up our Training Center and would like to put furnish it. We are not wanting anything with fabric or stuffing. What will work the best is outdoor furniture, metal futon, wood tables and chairs, metal bunk beds. Items that can get wet. Thank you in advance and just let us know if you have items and we will arrange a time to come pick them up.

Due to the possibility of sever weather on Wednesday evening in our area, we will be testing the Tornado Siren at 1:00 pm across from Taylor High School.

Public Announcement
On Wednesday June 17, 2026 at 6:00pm, Taylor Township Fire Rescue will be conducting a test of our Tornado Siren across from Taylor High School.

On June 10 at approximately 10:35 pm TTFR was dispatched to area of 4900 S 600 E for an RV on fire near a structure. Crews were able to contain it to just the RV and no damage was caused to the adjacent structure. Taylor Township was assisted by Harrison Township Fire Department and Tipton County Sheriff's Department.
If you have a child 7-14 check this out. It is a great experience for them.

TTFR had the privilege of helping the Taylor High School Class of 2026 enjoy a bond fire this evening. Congratulations to all the Seniors and thank you for allowing us to be part of a new tradition.
