Who remembers these old Yamaha Dealer poster frames? This one was used for the opening of Wi******er, Indiana’s Motocross track in 1973.

Relics from the YZ80 days. What do you have laying around? AC⚡️DB

Who didn’t ride a YZ80 ?! The year is 1979 and the track was IRP in Claremont, In. Now home to the Lucas Oil US National Drags. Not far from the Indianapolis 500. Who would like to see a great Am MX track brought back here!?

What are you riding this weekend?

Monark Part 2 from Scott Wallenberg

The back started out as a Standard Monark 125. We changed the cylinder, head and piston to 100cc. Cylinder was ported with special boost port design with matching hole cut in piston Steel gas tank replaced with Vesco plastic. Steel fenders replaced with Preston Petty plastic. Fork guards are Petty as well. Midwest Allsport Goo Guard to protect mud from gathering on cylinder fins. Those front number plates were special as the numbers were 3D and popped in so they could be seen easier in mud races. I wore Bell Magnum helmet, Torsten Hallman GP leathers and gloves. Carrera 98 goggles with Hallman GP mouth guard. JT socks. Hallman GP flip up visor. Boots were from ASR.

Great pic from Scott Wallenberg . Here is what he had to say: Pretty sure the shot was at Aztalan Cycle Park Lake Mills, Wisconsin. For sure 1973 on my Monark with 100cc cylinder.
