Kristopher Regalado of North Judson-San Pierre High School recently passed the National Registry Exam for Emergency Medical Technician. Kristopher was part of the SCILL EMS Program for the 2022-2023 school year. Congratulations Kristopher! Your hard work paid off! You earned it! We are so proud of you!

SCILL's Welding Program Students attended the Skills USA competition last Saturday at the Boilermakers Local 374 in Hobart. Blane Howard and Robert Karch, both of NJ-SP High School competed in the individual welding division.
Nicholas Dwyer and Kamden Mann of Knox High School, and Arwen Kornblith of Culver High School competed as a Fabrication Team.

The Fabrication Team placed 3rd and will move on to State Competition in Indianapolis on April 19-20. Congratulations!

We are very proud of all of you! You are great representatives of the SCILL Welding Program!

Thank you Lochmandy Ford of Knox for the donation of a 2014 Ford Focus to be used for training purposes at the SCILL Automotive Program.

Last week, SCILL Welding and Automotive students completed a community service project, raking 26 yards within the City of Knox for those in need of assistance. Many thanks to the City of Knox with their assistance in completing this project.

SCILL Automotive and Welding students spent the day with our guest speakers from Local 292, UNOH, SW Michigan College, JATC153, Local 150 and WYO TECH to explore their future possibilities. This is an annual event we put together to benefit SCILL students.

Automotive Students of the Month for January are first-year student Emmalee Sobol of Oregon Davis High School and second-year student, Austyn Longanecker of Plymouth High School.

Students of the month are chosen by instructors, Levi Schleg and Jacob Pearson based on the student's test scores, class participation, attitude, attendance, and initiative in the automotive shop.
