I’ve been in a funk lately. Anytime I start feeling this way, I try to drink more water and do something that makes me use my mind. Usually, that helps me to stop overthinking things, and helps when I have decision paralysis.

This week, I decided to try my hand at macarons, again. Once upon a time, I had these little suckers down! But as with anything, if you don’t practice, the skill diminishes.

Attempt #1 was a complete disaster! I tried a new recipe, and let’s just say I will not be attempting this one again. 😆

Attempt #2 was definitely an improvement. Not perfect, but they taste dang good!!

I’m calling it a win. And the best part is that it’s getting me out of my funk (& I get to eat macarons!). ❤️

10 years ago, these were the first cookies that I took to a Christmas party! The rest is history.

I’m thankful that my cookies tasted good back then, because they wouldn’t have won any beauty contests. 😆 It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you take the time to learn something!!!

I have to do some housekeeping things tomorrow (my family insists on eating, so I guess I should go to the grocery store 🤪), but then I’m going to try and bake some more. I’m not sure I’ll have time to bake and decorate, but I can try to put together some DIY kits for the kids to do over Christmas. I’ll post details on my page if I’m able to bake more cookies. 🍪🍪🍪

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who was able to stop by for cookies, today! When you purchase cookies from us, you are supporting our kids in music lessons, the extras that aren’t covered in a teacher’s salary, and extra food during our busy schedules. We appreciate you, and thank you for your support and love!

I do still have a few cookies left, and I also have a few “mug huggers” gift sets left. Let me know if you still need cookies throughout this week. ❤️

I can’t tell which design is my favorite! Either the melted snowman or Rudolph……. But the fancy candy cane is fun, too!

We usually have a "tree-mendous" amount of orders around the holidays, so this is a chance to get your cookies before they sell out and you are all over there callin' me saying, "Say it ain't 'snow'!".

This is a great time to stock up on gifts for all the people-teachers, neighbors, church leaders, friends...yourself...(I may or may not be on the naughty list).
