Our very own literacy specialist, Lauren Flores and first year 2nd grade teacher, Emily Lapaglia represented Ehrhardt by presenting at the district PLC conference this week! They did a wonderful job sharing about the importance of good conversations in PLCs and how that can help our students be even more successful!

Children who read during the summer don’t lose ground. 📖 They continue to build fluency and comprehension skills. The more children read, the better readers they become, and better readers are better learners. The purpose of The Reading Express is to ensure that every Klein student has access to library materials and programming throughout the summer. If the students cannot come to the library, we will take the library to them!

The fifth-grade party concluded the year on a high note, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Fifth Grade Appreciation Committee. Their dedication and hard work resulted in an epic celebration.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the committee and the generous parents who made it all possible, including Goretty Rice, Lupe Martinez, Dawn and Ron Nicewonder, Alejandra Gomez, Alva Gonzalez, Lisa Joseph, Venous Darvish, Christina Williams, Natalie Mccrackin, Marin Fons, Eric Birnbaum, and Alyssia Birnbaum, who selflessly volunteered their time to unpack takis, inflate balloons, and tackle precarious ladders. Their collective efforts were truly appreciated. We love our Eagle parents.
