The work starts long before the arena lights come on. 🐂

From raising and training our own bucking stock to preparing them for rodeos here and beyond, Stock Committee Chairman George Kempfer shares what goes into the Stock Committee and a family tradition that spans generations.

Another big score for Florida-raised roughstock out West! Last Saturday, Lawman brought the power to the Lewiston Roundup, scoring 45 points with Dub Moulton in the matchup. From Florida to Idaho, our Silver Spurs stock continues to show what it’s made of on rodeo’s biggest stages. 🤠

Wild Bill made his mark in Lewiston! 🔥 On September 9, our Florida-raised rough stock was back on the road for Xtreme Bulls at the Lewiston Roundup in Idaho. Wild Bill earned an impressive 45.5-point score, nearly perfect, making him the highest-marked bull of the night after bucking off Pokey Houghton of St. George, Utah. We’re proud to see our stock competing across the country alongside some of the best in rodeo and showing fans what they can do. 🤠 Where will you spot Silver Spurs rough stock next? Stay tuned!

The next generation of rodeo is growing up on both sides of the chute. 🐴

What many fans may not know is that the Silver Spurs Club doesn’t just host rodeos. Our members also raise and care for much of the livestock you see in the arena.

In fact, many of today’s bulls and broncs can trace their bloodlines back to Silver Spurs Club's roughstock that competed decades ago. It’s another way rodeo tradition is passed down from one generation to the next.
