Libby and Nash from Seattle on deck for a surprise trip on Lake toho recently. This young angler was rewarded for his endeavors and kept the line wet and didn’t let up one bit during our four hour trip. Ms Libby just watched and kept the cheering on her nephews catches. Trip was easy providing them a great time and we received a very nice google review to boot (last photo).
Thanks Libby and Nash!

Wednesday morning Sr. tourney we had enough for second place win (13.5 lbs) on Lake Kissimmee. For the night tourney Terry and I had 17.5 lbs and it took 19 to place and 22 to win! Had fun, little rain, and some good fishing and excellent horizon.

Slipped out for few hours this morning to recon the bass action. Small bass early on top water. Then, the big worm hooked a couple after heavy winds set-in, reminding me we live in the subtropics.
Tested the little swamp spiders I purchased recently to catch bream. They float and move on surface lifelike. Have to try them on a calm day, throwing it on 15lb braid. Recommended a small piece of plastic worm to give it some weight. Probably have to down size line diameter. More to follow.
Ended the day early for a speedy ride home, mama was getting ready, she’s baking oatmeal cookies.

Patric is another good fisherman I’ll introduce who is a veteran of Florida largemouth fishing from gulf of Mississippi. While His wife was down for a conference, we had a good day with a dozen bass in a four hour trip. Biggest bass came on a buzz bait and he was a master with the walking bait (spook) taking the majority of the spotlight. Helps when the bass were schooling and feeding on top, again. Thanks Patric, and safe trip home!

Friends Don B. and Capt Greg invite turned into Snapper journey 50 miles out for a fun day. We limited out on snapper and scampi groupers, one short of Red Groupers, and a mess of various species. Thanks for the 240 ft drop invite!

Pastor Frank and his son recently had some fun in the sun with us on Toho. Locals from central Florida in action and needed some guidance on our Florida strain largemouth-bass. We used artificial baits and shiners to round out the excursion with around twenty and a few critters. We wish Pastor Frank and his son have bountiful future days on their home lakes as they have a better ideal now on how to catch’m.
Come be part of the adventure!

Another awesome flats charter up in the panhandle with our friend, Capt Greg Mcconnell. Woohoo!
Managed another Florida Grand Slam with a legal flounder, Red drum, and Speckled trout.
Overall on a six hour trip located at Econfina, we netted 38 trout, 8 reds, and a mess of Seabass.

A petition is available now to reestablish the online 3 day licenses for out of state Anglers visiting Florida. Hope this is reinstated due to arriving clients day before charter who need licenses—now, not when the ONLY two places (Bass Pro Shops and Academy Sports + Outdoors) open. The other problem I have witnessed—It ties up a register, customer service employee and for patrons in line to checkout or for returns.
Controversy over Florida fishing license changes Florida’s new fishing license policy is drawing sharp criticism from charter captains and fishing guides who say it could hurt tourism and cost businesses customers.

Mike and son Logan from Washington state at it again after four years (before and after picture).
We hit the water early and waited for those schoolers. Sure enough, sun peaked, they started chasing bait. We launched Top water, flukes, and shiner baits and caught some in the 4-5 lb range with one over 6 lbs. Managed to land over twenty bass.
Great serving these fishermen again and hope to see them back. Safe travels here all week at Disney and return home.
