Just a reminder that the Creativity Lives Art • Craft • Sewing Re-Use Thrift Store will be CLOSED August 15–29 while we take some time to restock, reorganize, and get ready for Fall!

Join us again on September 5th for a fresh season of creative thrifting!

Come hunt for fabric, yarn, art supplies, craft materials, sewing treasures, and all kinds of creative finds just waiting for a second life.

Dreams are what realities are made of!

We are SO excited about transforming this space at the Creativity Shell into our very own vegetable garden and chicken coop! We can already imagine our students planting seeds, growing food, caring for chickens, cooking with ingredients they’ve grown themselves, and learning valuable life skills along the way.

But just like a garden, big dreams grow better with a community!

We’ll soon be putting out a call for volunteers to help us bring this space to life from building raised garden beds and preparing the soil to planting, painting, building the coop, and more.

This is a Sewing Class + Dance Class + Flash Mob Music Video Filming!!

Get ready to do something completely different! Join us for this one-of-a-kind class where sewing, dancing and community creativity come together.

Students will learn how to create their own zombie-inspired costume while also learning the iconic “Thriller” dance. At the end of the semester, all participants will come together in their handmade costumes to film an exciting flash mob-style music video!

Students will work on:
* Learning to use a sewing machine (beginners are welcome!)
* Creating clothing and accessories
* Learning dance steps and choreography
* Building confidence and creativity
* Doing something fun and different as a community
* Come sew, dance and bring the “Thriller” experience to life!
* This class is open to adults but if children under 18 join, they MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Our Sourdough Rising Workshop is simply amazing!

Look who’s making her teaching debut this summer at the Creativity Shell!

One of the greatest joys of what we do is watching our students grow into leaders. Our community is built on an incredible cycle where students become teachers, mentors, and role models for the next generation.

We are so grateful to provide a place where our teens can have meaningful jobs, do what they love, build confidence, and give back to the community that helped raise them.
