Hello All! Thank you all so much for your help with this! These photos are a little grainy, but does anyone recognize this vehicle?

It appears to be the same car that has been coming onto our property during the early hours of the morning and ransacking our garbage area. As you can see in the photos, there is no trash on the ground when they arrive, but after they leave, garbage is scattered everywhere. (These photos are from different dates)

If anyone recognizes the vehicle or has any information, please send us a private message. We appreciate the community looking out for one another and helping us keep the area safe and clean.

Please note, this post is not meant to humiliate or harm anyone. We are simply asking for help with an ongoing situation.

A few years ago, we met a woman who was going through our dumpster looking for items. Since then, we have tried many times to help by offering craft supplies, clothing for her children, support during her pregnancy, opportunities to learn creative skills, and other resources. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the situation has continued.

We eventually had to place a lock on our dumpster because each time it was gone through, our parking lot was left scattered with trash, food waste, and supplies from our programs. This week, the lock was cut off and the dumpster was broken into again. Even Waste Management was surprised by the extent of the damage and mess left behind.

If anyone knows this woman or her family, we kindly ask that you please encourage her to stop breaking into the dumpster and damaging property. We work very hard to keep the Creativity Shell safe, clean, and welcoming for the hundreds of children and families we serve each week.

Our dumpster often contains discarded food from cooking camps, broken materials, sharp objects, and other items that can create unsafe conditions. We truly want to approach this situation with compassion, but we also need to protect our property, our students, and our space.

Thank you for understanding and for helping us spread this message respectfully.

Taking a peek into our Jelly Cat inspired Sewing Camp and WOW!!! Look at these adorable hats the students made!!

It’s summer vacation… and the children are SEWING! Let that sink in!

These young creators spent their day designing, stitching, learning new skills, and building confidence through creativity. Watching kids choose sewing over screens during summer break is something truly special. We are so proud of them!

Our first day of Summer Camps 2026 and we are SO hooked!!

We got to the studio this morning to find that someone broke into our trash can AGAIN. They literally cut through the metal to get into the trash. It appears to be a blue car, and one of the women has a dog and is sometimes living on the streets.

If anyone knows who these individuals are, please let us know. We have tried to be compassionate and have even offered to leave unwanted craft supplies in a separate bag for them, but instead they continue to damage our property and leave the area a mess.

As a nonprofit organization, situations like this are incredibly frustrating because every repair takes away resources that could otherwise go toward programs for children and families in our community. We truly want to help people when we can, but we also need our property and space to be respected.
