We are continuing to for our members, like Friends In Need Health Center who recently did free COVID testing for their community.

Chef's Pizzeria in Downtown Kingsport is offering free COVID vaccinations and rapid testing on Friday, August 26. This is made possible through Friends In Need Health Center. A free tea card is given to anyone who receives a vaccination or test.

With dental offices reopening and patients resuming routine and specialized care, it's time to take a look at dental healthcare options – particularly for older adults.

Join us Friday at 10 a.m. for a FB Live screening of our original documentary, : Dental Health.

The documentary includes insights from Interfaith Dental, Remote Area Medical - RAM, Smile On 60+, Neighborhood Health and Friends In Need Health Center.

Friends in Need is a non-profit organization which was established in 1995 to provide regionally supported medical and dental care for the employed uninsured and members of their immediate family for residents of Sullivan, Hawkins, Washington and Greene counties in TN and Scott, Wise and Lee counties in VA.

Friends in Need opened its doors in 1995 when community leaders identified a need for healthcare services for the medically under-served. Since then, the organization has grown from 500 patient visits in 1995 to over 6,700 patient visits in 2019.

FIN serves a special need within the community and HMG is proud to partner with them to assist in their transition to electronic medical records through the donation of laptops, providing them with the tools necessary to move to their new platform which will help them serve our community.
