The Netherland Inn is open every Saturday and Sunday for tours. Tours start at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Cost: $6 Adults; $4 Students (6-17); under 6 free.
The Historic Netherland Inn was built in 1802 as a dormitory for the men who built flatboats to transport salt and other goods via the Holston, Tennessee, Ohio, and Mississippi Rivers all the way to Louisiana. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Opening Day at the Netherland Inn
Today's event at the Inn was well-attended, and we'd like to express thanks to all attendees for their presence. And, we were so happy that Rebecca Boone could join us to discuss day to day life.
