As Intended Wellness

This time 2 years ago, my brother Tristan was having over 200 grand mal seizures a year from a seizure disorder called Lennox Gastaut that his neurologists told us was untreatable, incurable, and likely terminal. As the seizures grew worse and worse, hiking became one of those things we “used to love to do”, but couldn’t because of the risks for him health wise.

So the very first thing he asked as he began to get better on his natural health plan was “can we go hiking again?”

He is now on zero medications and going over a month at a time between what are known as petit mal seizures that last barely a minute, which is nothing compared to the 7+ minute ones where he used to stop breathing. So for the first time in years, the other day we were able to tell him:

“Sure buddy, we can go on a small hike”

What looks like just a mountain for some people is a miracle to us ❤️
