Merry Christmas Everyone! Exciting news, we will soon be brewing in the basement as DLB again.

Happy National Lager Day Everyone! Looks as though it may turn into one of those days, but as always make sure you celebrate responsibly!

Just in case this is your jam when drinking beer you better stop down at the Timber Tap Taproom and Brewery tonight as our imperial porter is hitting the tap today at 4:00pm. This beer came in at 7.9%ABV and has hints of chocolate, almonds, cinnamon, and just a hint of heat from ancho Chili’s. A good amount of the beers residual sugar remains to further compliment the chocolate. The supply on this one is severely limited so if interested, stop in soon! If you miss out you still have the opportunity to try this on Saturday at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Beer Tasting at District 1 Brewing Company in Stevens Point.

Dry hops have been added, the Cold IPA should be ready for Christmas.

For those of you following the info on this page you may remember back to last fall when I started building a mash paddle to be used in the Timber Tap Brewery. When brewing this weekend I decided to use my paddle from home and realized quickly that it was too short. Well today while relaxing by the fire I pulled it out to start sanding, my favorite part 😬. I must say it turned out quite nice.

Inaugural Brew Day at Timber Tap Today!!! So far a few minor snafooos but at least we’re still on track to have some beer for the grand opening on the weekend of June 2nd!!
