Join us for Poetry on the Patio! We will practice social distancing, and we will be outside on the patio. It is a safe social gathering where you can come get some things off your chest and have some good food and drinks! We wanna hear your poems. Let's have some fun and do some healing. ❤

Be Safe, and take precautions. Do not let the media or anyone else drive you crazy about the Coronavirus. You have survived the outbreak of many diseases... you are fine! DO NOT PANIC! Wash your hands often and for at least 20 seconds when you do. YOU GOT THIS!! Trust God and stay healthy!

History was made... Andrea Vocab Sanderson is a friend and an amazing poet! I am super excited that she is not only the new Poet Laureate for San Antonio but the 1st Black Poet Laureate... She will go down in history, never to be erased as the 1st Black Poet Laureate in San Antonio. She did it with her love of words and her desire to follow her dreams... I hope she inspires you to keep writing today!!!
