July crept in quietly while the world kept spinning sideways. We know so many of us are walking through hard things right now. The grief, the uncertainty, the weird beauty of it all.
Some days we feel strong, some days we don’t. But we keep leaning into what’s real, and for us, that’s the music. That’s the medicine. It’s how we stay connected~to each other, to our friends, to our community, to something deeper than all this noise.
We’re playing a few shows this month that we’re grateful to be part of~
July 4~🎆 at the Maui Songwriters Festival opening for Ella Langley.
July 12~ 🌅 at the Upcountry Farm Dinner supporting Paula Fuga.
July 25~🍫 in Lahaina at Maui Ku‘ia Chocolate Factory.
July 26~ 🌊🎸back at Ocean Vodka for a sunset duo set.
If you’re around, come breathe with us. Bring your heart and let’s be in it together.
On July 27, we’re releasing Faith to all music platforms. It’s one of those songs that came from the middle of the mess. A reminder to keep going, keep believing, even when it doesn’t make sense. We hope it finds whoever needs it. We hope it helps. We’re doing our best to offer something honest. Something healing. Something that reminds us we’re not alone. Thanks for walking with us. Thanks for being part of this little circle of light we call Music Medicine.

“Coexistence”
I sit down with sadness,
not as a guest,
but an old roommate
who’s seen me in socks and silence,
who knows which floorboards creak
under the weight of memories.
Hope sits too,
cross-legged and barefoot,
trailing sunlight in like a leaf stuck to her elbow.
She doesn’t interrupt,
just sets her tea down
next to the ache I haven’t named yet.
They don’t fight.
They don’t even speak.
But the room is full—
like breath before a sentence,
like a song that’s trying
to decide if it’s a hymn
or a breakup ballad.
Sadness folds the laundry of what never became.
Hope hangs paintings
where the drywall still crumbles.
Both are honest.
Both are mine.
Neither asks to leave.
So I pour a drink for each,
light a candle between them,
and whisper:
thank you
for not making me choose.
