ConchBall is excited to announce that Matt Herrington will be joining our coaching staff this fall with Player Development and Head Coach of our 10U Conch Ballers.

Matt currently serves as an officer with the Key West Police Department and is passionate about giving back to the community through youth baseball. He brings a wealth of baseball knowledge, leadership, and mentorship that will have a tremendous impact on our young athletes.

Matt looks forward to helping develop players both on and off the field while creating a positive, competitive environment that reflects the values of the ConchBall program.

ConchBall is excited to announce another major addition to our coaching staff.

Please join us in welcoming Danny Galvan as our Director of Pitching Development.

Danny will oversee all pitching instruction and development within the ConchBall program, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our athletes.

A former standout at Keiser University, Danny finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in wins, strikeouts, and innings pitched, establishing himself as the most accomplished pitcher in school history.

His experience, leadership, and passion for developing young pitchers will be a tremendous asset as we continue to build one of the premier player development programs.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, coaches, and father figures who make a difference every day.

Happy Birthday Coach!

Happy 52nd birthday to former Florida State baseball All-American Doug Mientkiewicz!

Born June 19, 1974, Mientkiewicz spent three seasons at FSU from 1993 to 1995. For his career, Mientkiewicz was a 2-time All-American, 2-time All-ACC performer and 2-time ACC All-Tournament selection. For the Seminoles, Mientkiewicz hit .348 with 35 home runs and 188 RBIs while posting a .990 fielding percentage.

A fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Twins in the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft, Mientkiewicz played 12 seasons in the big leagues for the Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers. Inducted into the FSU Hall of Fame in 2002, Mientkiewicz is one of just six players to win a World Series and an Olympic gold medal.

This Fall, ConchBall is excited to welcome Landon Lowe to our staff as Offensive Coordinator and Player Development Coach.

His commitment to teaching, attention to detail, and ability to connect with athletes make him a valuable addition to the ConchBall family. We are excited for the impact he will have on our players and baseball community as we continue to build a program focused on development, competition, and long-term success.

Landon brings a tremendous passion for developing hitters and helping players reach their full potential.

Conch Ball 14U wins opener at Prospect Select Palm Beach Classic Futures. Conch Ball 14U 7 Wellington Colts 2030 5.... Jacob Rodriguez and Alexander Wickers outstanding on the mound. Jacob Rodriguez worked 3 innings, allowed 1 earned run, struck out 3 and walked 3. Alexander Wickers worked 2 innings, scattered 3 hits, 0 runs allowed, struck out 3 and didn’t walk a hitter. Miles Murphy (2), Landon Caraballo (2) Jaiden Lopez (2), and Reef Rellla collected hits. Caraballo doubled and tripled. Rella tripled. Murphy, Lopez (2), and Caraballo (4) contributed RBI’s. Conch Ball 14U will continue pool play tomorrow.

The boys continue to build momentum this summer, bringing home another tournament title as they prepare for their upcoming trip to Pigeon Forge.
