Who wants to charter/ sponsor When And If or Schooner Malabar X down to Antigua for Classics 2027!?
A familiar name is returning to the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta. Juerg Zimmermann’s 40-foot yawl Lazy Leg has pre-registered for the 2027 Classic Regatta. Designed by William (Bill) Tripp and built in 1969, Lazy Leg has been a regular competitor at the Classic Regatta over the years, but she’s not joined us since 2019. We're delighted to see she’ll be returning and look forward to welcoming Juerg and his crew back to Nelson’s Dockyard.
2027 marks the first time we have opened pre-registration, giving owners and crews an opportunity to signal their intention to attend well in advance. As the fleet begins to take shape, we encourage owners of classic yachts, spirit of tradition yachts and modern classics to add their names to the list. Less than 2 weeks of sailing with Sunset Sail Key West before we sail north! This summer we will be sailing with Sunset Sail Salem as well as taking part in New York City’s SaSail4th 250nd Sail Boston’s 250th celebrations! Tickets for Sail Boston can be purchased now from our website. They are selling out quick!
