Car-Free Key West is about making it easy and safer for more people to bike, walk, use transit and share the ride more often. In fact, according to the U.S.
Key West is compact in size and that makes getting around by bicycle, walking and transit quick, safe and convenient. Census American Community Survey (ACS) 20% of Key West residents bike to work. Another 10% walk. That’s great! But we can do more to make it even easier and safer for more of us to do so. Key West doesn’t have enough space for everyone who lives, works and visits here to get around

Tomorrow is the big bike rodeo for kids of all ages in Key West! Join BikeSafe, Car-Free Key West, and Florida Department of Health (DOH) for helmet fitting, a big open bike skills course, and community bike ride.
And don't forget, Eaton Bikes Key West Bike Rentals & Bicycle Repair will be raffling off THREE brand-new youth bicycles at the event. WeCycle will be doing on-site maintenance, and refreshments will be available from Joey's Mini Donuts / Joey Bag-O-Donuts.
