The Bahama Village Music Program provides free musical instruction for kids ages 6-16.

💜💚💛 It’s NOT too early to get a jump on ordering your photo placards in honor of the lives of your lost loved ones to be displayed at the Annual Crooks Second Line Parade! We’re trying to make sure NO ONE is missed and placards can be made early and hopefully next year raise enough funds to honor 3 students with a scholarship!!
Photo placards are $100 each and they are the perfect to celebrate their lives with this loving community and folks who come from all over! ALL proceeds goes towards sending deserving music students to the Berklee 5 week ASPIRE Program in Boston! 💜💚💛

This year’s Crooks Second Line Scholarship recipients are: Matteui Bastillada and Jaxon Thurston!! These fine musicians are heading to an all expense paid trip to Berklee School of music in Boston, MA. There they will participate in the 5 week Aspire program and they will learn various genres of music and play with and learn from musicians and teachers from all over the world. BVMP/Crooks Second line couldn’t be more proud of them both. Not only are they great teachers here with our program at BVMP they are also members of the Key West High School Band. In August both students are heading to college where music will continue to be their focus. Matteui is attending Berklee School of Music in Boston and Jaxon is heading to the University of Florida. It has been an honor to witness their journey and we wish them best of luck on their life’s ventures!!! What a way to represent Richard Crooks!!!💜💛💚
