Web addresses are cheap. Why not spend the $10 or so per year to purchase a memorable URL that coincides with a major promotion or product offering. You can then create either a special landing page or just have it redirect to your home page. Aside from just being more memorable at a glance, through google analytics you would then be able to easily track how much traffic that particular campaign is generating for your site. Works well with outdoor advertising or direct mail in particular. But don't go crazy. Not only should it make sense with your campaign but it should reinforce your brand at the same time.

This is a brilliantly effective piece of marketing.
