The Key Deer of the Florida Keys ✨🦌✨

The Key Deer is an endangered deer population that lives only in the Florida Keys. It is a subspecies of the white-tailed deer. It is the smallest North American deer species. They usually weight between 45lb-75lb, and stand at average 26in-30in tall at shoulder depending on gender and age.

We can do our part in protecting them, by not encouraging engagement with them, also a big one is not feeding them food. These things although they may seem harmless they create bad habits that can result it them getting themselves killed or injured.

So instead we should just admire from afar when they pop up and show their beautiful selves to us😊
