Love is love. Community is everything. We are an LGBTQIA+ youth group in Key West for q***r youth ages 12-18yo.

We have group discussion and do different activities every week, such as karaoke and makeup tutorials. We provide nutrition-focused food every week, and will be having group field trips based on the young folks' interest. Our ultimate vision is to create an LGBT Community Center in Key West to serve all of the Florida Keys with a full retinue of programs and services.

As we enter Key West Pride 2026, everyone here at Q***r Keys Community Center wishes our community, our allies, and everyone celebrating, a safe, meaningful, and fulfilling Pride Month.

For those feeling the weight of simply trying to exist with dignity in the world right now, we want you to know this: we feel it too. We see you. You are not alone.

Remember the truth behind Pride: before it became a celebration, it was a fight for dignity, safety, and liberation.

What we now call Pride began as protest. In 1969, gay men, le****ns, bisexual people, drag queens, transgender people, gender-nonconforming people, and so many others stood together in the Stonewall Uprising. A multi-day act of resistance against years of harassment, raids, arrests, violence, and being forced into silence.

We have been here before. And we do not intend to go back.

As we move into Pride this year, we know many people are carrying real fear: fear that Pride events could be targeted, funding cut and the spaces we have fought so hard to build could be threatened.

But this is where we remember who we are.

Pride has never survived simply because institutions allowed it to exist. Pride continues because our community continues to show up. It is not up to others to decide whether Pride matters, whether Pride belongs, or whether Pride continues. That responsibility belongs to us.

So this Key West Pride 2026, we celebrate our radiant, resilient, colorful community united in love, acceptance, and pride!
Enter these spaces and events with joy. Celebrate loudly. Take up space. Protect one another. When we reclaim our narrative and refuse to let hatred define us, joy becomes more powerful than hate.

Happy Pride from Q***r Keys Community Center!
LOVE IS LOVE. COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING.
