Wetstock is the premier open-water, floating music festival held annually in the pristine waters of the Lower Florida Keys.

Taking place over the final weekend of May—specifically Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, 2026—this legendary sandbar party brings together massive crowds of boaters, music lovers, and sun-seekers for two days of pure tropical paradise.

Presented by the local favorite Reggae Lou & Reggae Lou, the event treats festival-goers to nonstop live performances playing directly from a completely floating stage anchored in waist-deep water.

Whether you are planning your trip for this upcoming weekend or just dreaming of the ultimate island vibe, here is the comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about Wetstock.

🎶 The 2026 Artist Lineup & Vibe

Wetstock is famous for its positive energy, high-octane performances, and an eclectic mix of genres that blend seamless reggae rhythms with hard-hitting rock.

This year’s lineup features a stacked bill of incredibly talented local and national acts:

Reggae Lou & The Kind Budz: The festival's beloved hosts, bringing signature island sounds.

Trae Pierce & the T Stones: The five-time Grammy-winning powerhouse group headlining the festival energy. (After Party at Looe Key Reef Resort)

Xperimento: Delivering explosive, multi-genre bilingual tracks.

Jacob Harshman Project (JHP): Shaking up the traditional sandbar vibe with pure, heavy-hitting rock and roll.

Soulfiya & Kroywen: Bringing massive energy and infectious reggae-dancehall flows.

Benjammin: Returning to the floating stage with fan-favorite acoustic and island melodies.

Marshall Morlock, Justin Angelo, Ray West & Dynamo, and Mac Calhoun: Rounding out the spectacular two-day jam session.

📍 Location: Picnic Island Sandbar

The festival is set entirely in the open ocean at Picnic Island Sandbar, a gorgeous shallow-water spot located right near Ramrod Key and Summerland Key, FL.

The water around the stage sits at a comfortable 3-foot depth, making it the perfect natural venue to drop anchor, float on a raft, or wade through the crystal-clear water with a cold drink in hand while the music echoes across the waves.

🚤 How to Get There & Experience It
Boat & Float

If you own or rent a vessel, sail out early to the Picnic Island Sandbar to claim your spot in the massive raft-up party. Ensure your anchor holds well in the sandy bottom and be mindful of your fellow boaters as the perimeter gets packed quickly.

Dedicated Shuttle Service

No boat? No problem. You can catch a dedicated water shuttle running back and forth all weekend long out of the Looe Key Reef Resort hub.

🌙 The Official After-Parties

The music doesn’t end when the sun goes down over the Gulf. Once the sandbar wraps up for the day, the festival moves onto dry land.

Both Saturday and Sunday nights feature the official Wetstock After-Parties at the Looe Key Reef Resort (27340 Overseas Highway, Ramrod Key).

Expect late-night live entertainment, great food, drinks, and festival energy waiting for you right where the water shuttles drop you off.

🧳 Essential Festival Survival Guide

To make the absolute most of your Wetstock weekend, keep these insider tips in mind:

Admission is Free: There is no ticket required to float up and watch the bands. However, bring plenty of cash to fill up the band tip jars and support the artists who make this event possible.

VIP area will be up front and center, and cost $50/ per person for both days. Bring cash or use venmo

Pack Self-Sufficiently:
Bring heavily stocked coolers with plenty of ice, water, and food. There are no permanent storefronts or convenience shops out on the sandbar.

Sun & Element Protection:
The Florida sun is brutal on the water. Slather on reef-safe sunscreen, wear a wide-brimmed hat, and pack polarized sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Water Gear:
Bring sturdy water shoes to protect your feet from hidden coral or shells, and don't forget your favorite pool noodles, floating chairs, or inner tubes to float effortlessly all day.

For exact set times, VIP roped-in water zone reservations, and up-to-the-minute shuttle schedules, be sure to keep an eye on the official Wetstock 2026 Facebook Event Page!

Tomorrow night we’re doin’ it Lower Keys style at Sugarloaf Key RV Resort 😎🎶

Listen here y’all, they’re LOCAL FRIENDLY. They’ve got snacks, beer & wine available too… but this ain’t one of those places that acts weird if you show up with your own cooler. 🤣

And if you’re out Tiki Hoppin’ tomorrow night, show some love to ALL the local music spots. My buddy Keith Keene will be over at Mangrove Mama’s holdin’ it down too — so stop in and see him, then swing by Sugarloaf RV and see me. 🎶🤙

That’s how we keep live music alive here. Support those that support live music.

I’ll be playing from 6–9 PM:
🎶 Outlaw Country
🎶 Southern Rock
🎶 Island tunes
🎶 Songs you know… and some you should
