Meet Linnea Edwards, a dedicated Monroe County athlete and Athlete Leadership Council member who has been part of Special Olympics Florida since 2010. 💙🏅

Since becoming an Athlete Leader, Linnea has continued to grow as a leader while helping represent the voices of athletes throughout the movement. 🙌

Linnea competes in bocce, flag football, cheerleading, stand up paddle, cycling, bowling, swimming, and co****le, showcasing her passion for sports and Special Olympics Florida. 🏆

Next month, Linnea will travel to Minnesota to represent Team Florida in bocce at the 2026 USA Games. 🌟🥇

Linnea’s leadership, dedication, and positive attitude continue to inspire athletes throughout Monroe County and beyond.

We would like to share that the memorial service for David Ciuffetelli has been scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

The service will be held at The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea on Truman Street and Windsor Lane in the Stations of the Cross Garden, as the main sanctuary is currently under repair.

David was a cherished member of the MARC family and the Key West community. His kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit touched so many lives throughout his 34 years at Fausto’s and beyond. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please continue to keep David’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 💙
