Fished a full day trip and then went out after to set a baitfish trap for a friend so they could use it the next day. Just brought one 8lb rod and some jigs to do some wading while I was out. Grateful to find some cooperative permit and bonefish before lightning and some heavy storms chased me off the water.

Windy April Tarpon fun. Father and son willing to work with less than ideal conditions and getting accordingly rewarded. We moved around a lot as to not over pressure any particular group of fish and found some willing participants each place we went. Always grateful for folks willing to trust me with their precious vacation time and the resource for its gifts.

We’ve been having a great year sightfishing for Cobia on the flats. This fish was seen and cast to in less than 4 ft of water. The angler did a great job picking his fish, making the cast,and getting him in on 10lb test. Fish was released healthily.

First trip to the Keys and catches bonefish, permit, tarpon, barracudas, jacks, snappers, and a flats Cobia. Action packed day for sure. On top of getting a glass flat day in March. Like winning the Spring lottery. Grateful to continue to get to share time on the water with old and new friends alike.

The anglers I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with lately have been enjoying some of the false-spring run of Cobia on the flats off Key West. 10lb test, all sight fishing, artificial, and all catch and release. Grateful for the opportunity and ability to share such fun experiences with folks.

Barracuda are definitely taking the spotlight on the flats right now. Fishing has been outstanding with the nice weather pattern we’re in as we’re between cold fronts. Grateful for all the anglers that have chosen to spend some of their precious vacation time with me lately.

Winter barracuda fishing is in full swing. Glad to see these guys showing back up on the flats in full force.

Chilly Winter mornings can be a little tough on the water, but the scenery really softens the blow. The phone only got about 2/3 of the sunrays leaking through this cloud line but it was incredible at sunrise. Always grateful for time spent in nature and getting to share that with others .

Starting the new year off watching some Torch Key Raccoons hunting the flats at low tide. No crab was safe.

It’s been a great December so far fishing with some great folks from all over the world. Lots of variety both in the fishing and the weather. Excited to fishing up strong. Very grateful for the folks that choose to spend their vacation time with me.
