Lake George, New York ๐
Mission accomplished.
After departing Key West, navigating the Atlantic coast, crossing the Chesapeake, passing through New York City, and making his way up the Hudson River, Captain Carl and Bone Dancer have officially arrived in Lake George.
What began as a journey north became an adventure filled with new waterways, changing weather, unforgettable sights, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, cheered us on, and shared in the voyage.
From the Florida Keys to the Adirondacks, Bone Dancer has made it to her summer home.
The journey may be over, but the adventures are just beginning.

New York City ๐
Captain Carl has officially made it to one of the busiest waterways in the country.
After miles of coastline, quiet anchorages, and small towns along the way, Bone Dancer is navigating through New York City as the journey north enters its final chapters. Next up is the Hudson River, with Lake George now firmly in sight.
Weโre in the homestretch now.

Captainโs Log | Episode 12
Chesapeake Bay ๐
What a difference a day makes.
After riding out rough weather ashore, enjoying a good nightโs sleep and a few well-earned muffins, Captain Carl was able to take in a Blue Angels practice before getting back underway.
With calmer conditions and Bone Dancer back on the water, the journey continues as he makes his way out of the Chesapeake and points north once again.
Stay tunedโthereโs still plenty of adventure ahead.

Chesapeake Bay ๐
Not every day on the water is smooth sailing.
Captain Carl checks in from a rough and bumpy Chesapeake Bay, where changing weather and heavy seas forced a change of plans. After finding a marina and a safe place to tie up, Bone Dancer is hunkered down and waiting for conditions to improve.
With a little luck, the journey north will resume before the weekend. Until then, safety comes first.

One bridge up. One lock through. Chesapeake Bay ahead.
A day of moving north meant waiting on drawbridges, easing through locks, and watching the scenery change mile by mile. The lock only raised Bone Dancer about 1.5 feet, but every stop along the way is another step closer to Lake George.
