As you already know, Triton Marine Electronics has already been your favorite South Florida Marine Electronics dealer, offering you sales, installation and support for all your favorite brands. Whether you’re a Garmin person or a Simrad person, or somewhere in between, for almost 10 years now we have brought you the best in Chartplotters, depth-sounders, radar systems, marine stereos, and more for anything from your 13’ Boston whaler to your 92’ Hatterus.

Some of you know we slowed down on taking new customers for your boat wiring and rigging, electrical system audits and radar installations while I’ve been deep in the books back in school for electrical engineering. Repairing electronics on the PCB level has always been a hobby of mine. And while I carry many industry standard certifications from Garmin, NMEA, KVH, Navico (Simrad/Lowrance/B&G), giving you the best in manufacturer certified installations and warranty repair, it has fallen short in the skills and knowledge needed to do sensitive board repairs.

This year, we are adding microsoldering repairs to our already impressive repertoire ! We already have a few exciting B2B relationships with other local repair shops, such Keys Smartphone repairs, delivering amazing results on sensitive microscopic level board repairs, but we are getting such a wide range of electronics coming through our doors!

The pressure on manufacturers to provide the tools and resources needed to do even some of the most complex repairs has grown and it is becoming more and more available.

Just this week the YMCA had TWO pitching machines go put back to back, threatening that weeks practice AND games!! Typically, these machines would have had to be sent back to Minnesota, and by the time they were repaired and sent back season would already be over!!! Triton Marine Electronics got these repaired and back in operation before the weekend was even over, and your boys are girls are back to hitting home runs and RBI’s before they could even say “FOUL BALL!!!”

Battery compartment complete mess!! Accident waiting to happen!
Cleaned up the mess, cleaned the bilge, added automatic charging relay and 2 100amp fuses for both Engine and the new House battery banks. After the final layout was established went over it a final round for an efficient, clean, safe and functional dual battery setup, with room to spare!!!

Another successful install of a Garmin GMR 424 4' OPEN ARRAY radar on this Brand new 32' Tidewater.

2019 Garmin Certified Installer

Triton Marine Electronics is dipping our toes in the water these next few holiday seasons(including mini lobster season) in a new service for the Key Largo locals boat owners with valuable marine electronics. We are communicating with a couple of local, secure brick and mortar business locations and working out logistics to offer a new service to protect your marine electronics investments during these increasingly vulnerable times . Chartplotter/MFDs are particular vulnerable to theft around these times. We always remind our customers to secure their valuables the best they can but for some boats, it can be as easy as 4 screws and a pair of wire cutters and in 5 minutes or less you are a victim. Are you away? Triton Electronics will send a NMEA and factory (Garmin,Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, RayMarine) certified technician to your vessel to remove your units. Fill out and sign our form with the vessel, and units model and serial information for each device and we will securely lock away your units for safe keeping until a specified date to reinstall the units on your boat! These removal and installs continue to fall under your install warranty by being done from a factory certified installer.

Many of our customers, or potential customers have asked for this! Local businesses like us compete with big box stores such as West Marine on retail sales, and although our prices ALWAYS match or beat their prices(authorized dealers are required to adhere to manufacture pricing guidelines) some customers still feel more secure in their warranty and protection availabilities with the “chain stores!” Now, for LESS than they charge and LONGER protection terms we are now able to fill this gap! While the local bricks and mortar Marine supply stores offer 1-2 year extended warranties at approx. 10% of the total ticket price of the item , we now offer 3 or 5 year extended warranties at almost HALF the price as their 1-2!!!!
