1 Mile Swim : ✅

Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in the annual open water swim! In addition to flipping my fins for the Kids’ Splash, I also swam the 1 Mile Event in my silicone tail. Probably a bit ambitious for my first ever open water swimming event, but it went FINtastically!

This event helps fundraise to support cancer research and helps give Keys locals access to cutting edge treatments from the Miami Cancer Institute.

Young swimmers will love what SAA- Florida Keys has to offer at The Kids Splash! Kids are invited to swim in the clear, still waters at founders park before the main swim! They will be visited by @deepblue.mermaid who is excited to share the waters and #makewavestofightcancer with us all.

If your child’s swim level allows them to swim about 50 yards to a large floating mat we welcome you to sign them up to experience this memorable event!

Cost of registration is $25 per child.
