Small Steps, Giant Leaps: Episode 49, NEEMO Case Study Deconstructed NASA’s Bill Todd and Joyce Abbey and retired Astronaut Nicole Stott discuss NEEMO and a new case study they developed about the unique undersea analog.
The NEEMO 23 crew splashed down on June 13 at 11:06 am EDT to start their 9-day mission aboard Aquarius Reef Base! We are operating under 2 seconds communications one-way time delay between Mission Control and the crew, similar to what astronauts experience when they're on the Moon. 🌔
