About Kat: Kat is a certified Comprehensive Yoga Therapist with 1,000+ hours of training, an MA in psychology, and years of experience as a mental health care provider. June 19th — Juneteenth — is a day to celebrate the emancipation of all human beings in our country, and to celebrate freedom. This sound bath, paired with a loving kindness meditation, recognizes the power we each have to put goodness out into the world. Lifting ourselves up with an evening of self-care is a simple way to lift up those around us, knowing that the ripple effect of loving kindness is infinite.

"I am a military spouse. For years, I watched my husband and the Marines he led deploy into war — and I watched what came back. Not just the wounded, though I witnessed that too. I watched the angels come home to American soil, flag-draped, carried with the dignity they earned. I stood with families who would never be the same. That is a weight that stays with you.
Yoga has given me a place to breathe through grief I couldn't always name. Today, I want to offer that same space to our community — a place to be still, to be grateful, and to remember those who gave everything so we could have ours."

Key Largo Yoga opens its doors to the community with free, accessible practices at least one a month, so everyone has a chance to experience the benefits of yoga. All are welcome including studio members, beginners, and advanced practitioners.
This month we’re offering a class that combines poses with philosophy. We will ease into a series of basic postures on the mat as we discuss the philosophy that underpins the physical practice. Gain a deeper understanding of how the yoga asana practice contributes to the peace and contentment that yoga brings to our every day lives.

What a magical Friday night at Key Largo Yoga! 🌙✨
Last week our studio was completely full for the Chakra Sound Bath led by the wonderful Kat — and what an evening it was.
Guests were wrapped in aromatherapy, carried through a guided meditation, and bathed in the healing resonance of sound as Kat guided us through the cleansing and clearing of all seven major chakra points of the energetic body.
The result? A room full of people leaving settled, relaxed, and deeply at peace. 💛 There is nothing quite like a full studio humming with that kind of collective stillness.
A heartfelt thank you to Kat for sharing her gifts with our community, and to everyone who joined us — you made the night truly special.
