Sometimes a bathroom vanity drain needs to be brought to the vanity, and enclosed as you can see here. This basement was built a long time ago, and the drain hookups didn't make much sense, but it finally has a working bathroom!

This shower was going to have plain walls, but I suggested the client add an accent row around eye level to bring character to the bathroom. Do you think it worked?

I liked the tile pattern for this one. The vertical lines helped emphasize the height of the bathroom even though it was down in a basement.

Another detail that I also loved was how the tile perfectly aligned with the right side of the shower niche. Difficult to do on purpose when you're focusing on the outside edges as a priority.

Things like that just seem to follow me around at work. I just smile and say, thanks God!

Had a client ask me to install this lawn ornament for her recently. It required a concrete support complete with anchor bolts to keep it straight. I love doing work like this because the ornament was very sentimental for her and now she will be able to see it from her window and travel down memory lane.

Had a customer request this backsplash the other day. One point to remember is that tile in a kitchen like this will contact a lot of surfaces (countertop, cabinets, wooden trim). These surfaces can move and cause cracking even simply from temperature change.

Make sure you use a flexible material at these transitions, to ensure your investment remains new for many years to come.

Don't forget to clean out your dryer vent. In addition to being a fire hazard, lint build-up also prevents efficient laundry drying.

Before, after, and in between for this shower!

This homeowner wanted to switch from one backsplash to another. The first was made from small, busy, tiles. The subway tiles give a much cleaner look. Bethy did a good job grouting this one too!

This homeowner decided on a backsplash to spruce up their kitchen. In their words, it lightened the room and made it seem larger. Credit for the grout job goes to Bethany!
